Mint Julep

Mint Julep

Woodford Reserve, Genepy, Rose, Mint, Okinawa Black Sugar

The official drink of the Kentucky Derby.

Hemingway once wrote that the best way to make a Julep is to rise early, gather fresh mint, throw it away - and pour whiskey instead.

We prefer our technique.

Taking inspiration from the word's Persian roots meaning rosewater, we infuse an alpine flower liqueur with rose hips in a sous-vide environment, marry bourbon with mint, and sweeten it with Okinawa black sugar.

Poured over crushed ice and crowned with a generous sprig of mint, it's our ode to tradition with a wink. -
